One of the most infamously prolific companies to manufacture medication to treat erectile dysfunction, Viagra are something of the "bad boy" of the pharmaceutical world.

Originally synthesized in Kent, England and patented in 1996, the drug Sildenafil was sought-after by several pharmaceutical companies in order to be marketed to older men as a means to solve issues of age-induced erectile dysfunction, Viagra has become one of the most infamous drugs on the face of the Earth.

Despite the fact that in most regions it's only available through prescription by a legitimate doctor, the drug has been advertised in numerous TV commercials and magazine ads, all of which aim to be exceptionally humorous and make light of what we all know people are using it for.

In truth though, their marketing is not joke. The drug has raked in millions of dollars over the years (although this has diminished significantly since the introduction of competitors such as Cialis and Levitra), and has even become so ubiquitous that several countries have allowed it to be sold over the counter.
