Mom Sets Up A Hidden Camera And Her Heart Breaks When She Watches The Footage

As much as we like to, we can't be the only person who supervises our young children. There are times that we have to leave them with strangers because we have to go to work, a special occasion, or attend to a pressing matter.

The only thing that comforts you is knowing that there are people out there who are specialized with kids.

Nanny services offer qualified professionals that are trained in taking care of your children. Although they may be more expensive than a standard babysitter, you can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that your precious one is in good hands.

Unfortunately, not all parents can easily make that decision. It still means their child is still in the hands of a stranger, and there's no telling what could happen when they step out of their front door.

One mother had similar worries when she noticed that her baby boy cried every time her nanny came to visit. Elena Levendeeva hired this particular nanny for only two weeks. Was it possible that her child didn't get along with the nanny? Did her infant feel sad knowing that she was going to be leaving?

There was no way she could ask her eight-month-old boy, so she secretly installed cameras to get to the bottom of it...

The 26-year-old mother was shocked at the disturbing footage she saw on one of her CCTV cameras.

She first saw her son being slapped on his face and bottom. Then he was grabbed by one arm and thrown on the floor.

“Due to frequent and continuous hysterical cries from our child we installed video cameras that recorded the beating and torturing," Levendeeva posted on social media.

It's alleged that Zhelyabova was upset that the baby refused to finish his bottle, so she tried to discipline him.

The 31-year-old nanny, Anastasia Zhelyabova, is now facing criminal charges and could get up to 10 years in jail if she's proven guilty of the crime.

According to Russian media reports, the investigation is over, but the discussion surrounding the safety of our children isn't.

Unfortunately, child abuse is not out of the ordinary. There have been several cases where parents caught their childcare professional abusing their kid.

Just last year, a child carer was charged with attempted murder after throwing her baby into a cot. The mother said she felt "betrayed" and "a complete failure as a mother" for putting her trust in someone to take care of her child.

There have been other videos where a hidden camera has captured nannies beating children or putting them under overwhelming emotional stress.

These awful stories will continue to crop up, but it's important for parents to be aware it. If you're dependent on childcare services, make sure to keep tabs on your child and take notice of any unusual behaviors that may indicate something strange is happening when you're not around.

Do you think the nanny deserved jail time? Have you ever had an awful nanny or babysitter experience?
