In what has to be one of the most horrific and unbelievable murder cases to show up in recent years, U.S. Army veteran Julia Jacobson has been found buried alongside her beloved box terrier, Boogie, in a shallow grave near her San Diego home.
Jacobson had last been seen leaving the house with her dog on Sept. 4th, only to disappear for an extended period of time. According to the New York Post, "Her SUV was found near her San Diego home with her keys in the ignition less than a week later. Detectives said forensic analysis of the car led police to conclude that she had been murdered."
An investigation was launched, and while it took over a month for any headway to be made, it was in October that police made an arrest in relation to the case: Jacobson's ex-husband, Dalen Ware.
Ware ultimately ended up being the one who lead police to her body...
