A family who believed their 44-year-old relative was cremated received the shock of their lives when he returned home.
Seven months ago, the family of Sakorn Sacheewa were told he had passed away from a digestive disease, and even went to identify his body.
According Daily Mail, Sacheewa's stepbrother said his family was devastated when they received a phone call from the police informing them on his death. They were asked to go collect Sacheewa’s body at the Faculty of Medicine Vajira Hospital of Navamindradhiraj University in Thailand.
When they got there, a cousin said Sacheewa's teeth weren't same as were the ones in the head of the dead man, and the body was unidentifiable as it was exceptionally bloated. Regardless, the officials were adamant it was him, and told them to take the remains.
Three days later, the family held a religious ceremony for Sacheewa and then cremated "his" body.
