A sex robot inventor hopes to father children with his own creation to normalize human-robot relationships.
Spanish scientist Dr. Sergio Santos said since he believes it's only a matter of time before marriages between humans and robots become the norm, the next logical step would be to have children, The Sun reports.
Santos said his 98-pound sex robot named Samantha knows eight different programs, can make realistic orgasm sounds, and can sense when he ejaculates.
Santos will soon procreate with Samantha by using a 3D-printer to combine the pair's unique traits into the brain of their robot child.
"I can make them have a baby. It’s not so difficult. I would love to have a child with a robot. Using the brain I have already created, I would program it with a genome so he or she could have moral values, plus concepts of beauty, justice and the values that humans have," Santos said.
"I would make an algorithm of what I personally believe about these concepts, and then shuffle it with what she thinks and then 3D print it," he added.
However, a British scientist said human-robot hybrids could come into fruition sooner than we think.
