The legal system is meant to protect all citizens from having their rights encroached upon by those who would abuse them. Innocent until proven guilty, the right to fair proceedings, and lawyer-client confidentiality, these are all liberties codified into our law books that we must stand up to protect.

That is why any wrongdoing by members of the criminal justice system should be taken extra seriously. They represent the laws they are supposed to enforce, and when they break them, it makes it twice as wrong.

When Florida attorney Andrew Spark was caught having sex with prison inmates, it was bad enough, but when detectives found out what was really going on, they knew they had a larger problem to deal with.

They questioned the prisoners and found out that he had been paying them for their "services" during visitation sessions, using private rooms in the prison that he could book as their lawyer.

As it turns out, it could get even worse.
