Doctors were shocked when they discovered a 35-year-old Indian man had 263 coins, 100 nails and dozens of razor blades in his stomach.

For three months, Maksud Khan had been complaining about severe abdominal pain before he was suppose to have surgery at Sanjay Gandhi Hospital in Satna, Madhya Pradesh.

The surgeons reported Khan worked as a three-wheeler driver and would swallow the coins his customers would give him as payment. The total weight added up to a whopping 15 pounds.

"The patient was complaining of stomach pain, so we thought of getting an endoscopy done. We were shocked to discover coins, nails and nut-bolts in his stomach," Dr Priyank Sharma told Zee News. "We come across such a case for the first time in our career."

Luckily, Khan hasn't suffered from any long lasting damage.
