Charmed star Alyssa Milano and Georgina Chapman, fashion designer and estranged wife of disgraced producer Harvey Weinstein, previously worked together on Project Runway: All Stars and have been friends since. Naturally, when Milano recently appeared on Megyn Kelly Today, she was asked about Chapman's well-being.
Milano told Kelly that Chapman, who announced she was leaving Weinstein after a decade of marriage following multiple allegation of sexual misconduct made against him, is doing considerably well.
“Georgina is doing very well … she’s an amazing woman, and I think her priority right now is focusing on how to raise those two children to the best of her capacity given the situation,” Milano said.
The actress revealed that although Chapman has remained strong through the ordeal, she still "goes through very dark times." She continued, "She’s very sad. This is not easy for her, but I have no doubt that not only will she come out on the other side of this, but she deserves to. She’s a good woman.”
While Milano did her best to answer the question without revealing too much, she was later slammed by her Charmed co-star, Rose McGowan, for supporting Weinstein's wife.
