It's been months since we read the first headlines about Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein's abusive treatment of female celebrities, but every day new stories break about the disgraced mogul or another Hollywood star.
Dozens of women have described Weinstein, groping them, harassing them, making aggressive and unwanted advances towards them, and threatening their careers if they didn't agree to his demands. One of the first actresses to come forward with her own harrowing story was Gwyneth Paltrow.
The movie star and founder of the Goop media empire described being called to Weinstein's hotel room before filming began on Emma in 1996. The then-22-year-old actress says Weinstein made inappropriate advances to her, and that she left after refusing him. Her story mirrors others shared by many of Weinstein's accusers.
But one unusual aspect of Paltrow's case is that her famous boyfriend - Brad Pitt - took matters into his own hands. The actor was one of the first people Paltrow told about Weinstein's alleged harassment, and the action star wasn't afraid to really get physical while confronting the movie mogul.
