Boy Baffles Doctors As He Lays 20 Eggs From Rectum

A 14-year-old boy stunned doctors after he told them he has laid 20 eggs from his rectum.

Akmal, who hails from Gowa, Indonesia, told medical experts he first began laying eggs in 2016, and his father, Rusli, claims they're either all yoke or all white.

He took his son to the Syech Yusuf Hospital, where he popped out two more eggs in front of the staff.

"In two years he laid 18 eggs and two today, so in total there have been 20. I cracked the first egg and its content was all yellow, no white," Rusli said, according to the Daily Star.

However, doctors are skeptical over the legitimacy of the pair's allegations. They said after careful examination, it had been concluded the eggs were in fact laid from chickens.

"Our suspicion is that the eggs were deliberately shoved into Akmal's rectum. But we did not see it directly," hospital spokesperson Muhammad Taslim told Detik.

"Scientifically [chicken] eggs cannot form inside the human body. It's impossible, especially in the digestive system," he added.

However, Rusli was quick to refute the hospital's accusations.

Refusing to be slandered, he said his son "never swallowed eggs whole, why would he do that?"

"I am an imam (cleric) in my village, so there's no voodoo. I only believe in the Lord," he added.

Doctors have quarantined Akmal for the rest of the week to fully examine his body.

According to International Business Times, this isn't the first time a person from Indonesia has laid eggs.

An elderly man from Jakarta named Kakek Sinin said he first began laying eggs in 2015. He too said that they had come out of his rectum, and had similar qualities to chicken eggs.

"Usually the eggs come out once every three months. But this month I've already laid three eggs," Sinin said. "This has happened since 1998. I was treated at a hospital once, and I even went to the police."
